The least known of the Cíes Islands conserves a halo of mystery and of unspoilt island, as it’s not accessible by regular transport. Its beautiful beach can only be accessed by private vessel. In addition, the island is a remarkable wildlife sanctuary for both flora and fauna.

The island’s real name is San Martiño, because it once had a shrine dedicated to this saint. It wasn’t the only one, there was also a small monastery, dedicated to Saint Stephen, on the island we’re on and which now houses the interpretation centre.

What better place to retreat into a life of contemplation and spiritual connection than the Cíes Islands.
